Senior Prom in May... no idea how to find a date, or if I should go stag. Help?
Okay ladies, I really need some help here... I've always been the shy, tomboyish type so I've never had a bf. I seem to attract rednecks, perverts, and stalkers (that was creepy 0.0) but none of the decent guys I know would ever think of me as a date.
Needless to say, I have no idea how to find a prom date without seeming desperate... I don't know of any guy friends that don't already have dates, so I can't go with one of them. I really don't want to end up as a "Wall Flower". I want to have some fun, but I don't see how I could just... going alone...
I'm not UGLY, but I'm nowhere near pretty either... Black hair, pale skin, blue eyes, healthy weight, boobless... yeah maybe I do fall under the "ugly" category lol.

I am by no means a lady, but I'll offer my opinion.
Proms are actually over rated, in my opinion. I do however seen the significances to people who want to go to them. I don't know why you haven't turned to friends that maybe boys whether they go to your school, church, or you know by other means.
One idea is to go with your father who could chaperon the event, if he is interested. After one dance who knows maybe other boys will want to dance, maybe not.
Other idea would be: do you have cousins around your age who could take you. I'm pretty sure that it's the event your interested in, not a date, i could be wrong though.
Those are thoughts I had, IDK if they helped but opinions are free I guess
